why is growth important?

By staying stagnant as a person, we can destroy our relationships, miss out on opportunities and limit our potential.

Growth is an important factor for communication and as a byproduct increases life quality hugely. As the saying goes "happy wife, happy life" I think the same can be said about any relationship you have. You wouldn't want to be around someone who had a bad personality or who is a horrible person chances are.

how do I grow as a person?

1. REFLECT - for this step we need to try and push aside our personal biases and emotions in order to look at this logically. Look deep into yourself and think about the negative traits you possess and what you can improve upon. A good place to start can be to look at things people often critic or insult you on.

If this is something you struggle with I suggest you look into stoicism. Stoicism also gives insight into how to be a virtues' person

Say you're angry constantly maybe you'll look into ways to control these emotions and put use to them elsewhere. Psychology and philosophy can give you really good insights to this. Maybe listen to input and stories from others who went through similar struggles

If you had to chose between 2 people of the same level of attraction but one person was good and had a good personality vs the other who is bad and has a bad personality, I think we would all choose the 1st right?
