Palate expander

Ok guys, I am new here, ready for you to burn me. However, for those willing to help your fellow soldier, I was wondering...I want to get a palate expander as when my wisdom teeth grew out they ruined my teeth, I had braces before and they were aligned perfectly. Now I have no room for all my teeth to expand properly and I thought since that is the case, could I put a palate expander, the hyrax one. Will it cause my front teeth to separate and what will I must do after the expander? Will I need to wear braces again?

I would never consider doing that, that is why I asked whether the palate expander would be a good idea, since it would make more room in my mouth

Yeah but your nose might get a little bit wider and yeah usually after expanding the palate braces should be needed to align the teeth perfectly.
Also to see if you need a palate expander you should check how narrow your palate is.

I do not think it is narrow at all, but I thought expanding my palate a bit will contribute my maxilla and the bones to be more prominent...and it will make the room for those wisdom teeth.
