Not only are LLMs a night and day difference from when chatGPT first released, but outside of the realm of written language we have figured out how to put models inside of logical "wrappers" so that random bullshit they hallucinate has to abide by certain rules, and if it doesn't, they go back to the drawing board and try again.

What this is effectively doing is replicating the natural evolution of human ideas and even human biology, whereby we keep throwing shit at the wall, discard what doesnt work, make note of what does, and then iterate iterate iterate. With enormous data farms and raw compute power, this process can be accelerated 10000x beyond what humanity would otherwise achieve.
