This might seem like a stupid question but does anyone else have permanent stubble despite shaving? I just wanna be clean shaven yet when i shave i cant get rid of all my stubble.

Im using an electric razor atm but even when I previously used a single blade razor i found it hard to be completely clean shaven, anyone got any tips or advice?

yes, electric razors will not give as clean a shave as normal razors and you won't really be able to get it 100% smooth but use a normal 5 blade

I remember sending my picture to a girl online so she could give her opinions on me, she said that she doesn't like five o'clock shadows on guys but that it actually suited me. Sounds good, right? Well, except I was clean-shaven in that picture. :sadcat:

do you think its worth it then?
yes, i shave in the shower it does wonders for keeping my skin un irritated i used to have super irritated skin from shaving everyday but i just did it in the shower and man it helped alot

that's gonna give you a cleaner shave btw, it's better then going over your skin with a one razor blade multiple times aswell,
I always use razor blades but it never works for me. Never used an electrical razor. I think the problem that OP and I have is that our facial hairs are too thick.

You are. I saw a guy on reddit who was 29 years old but looked like a teenager, and I noticed it's because he has zero stubble even when clean-shaven. He was Malaysian so it makes sense since (South) East Asians are quite hairless in general, especially when it comes to facial hair.

I have the stubble curse and regret using minoxdill when I was younger. Now I have a shadow if I don't shave against the grain hard. It sucks.

ill make sure not to take minox unless im balding, i feel like the stubble brings out the flaws in my skin more and just makes me look less clean

i like that it makes me more masculine but it reaches a point where it just gets annoying

You'll forget about appearing masculine when you get older. It's only the insecure older ones who have that toxic mentality who continue masccoping. I can understand if you're still in your teens but after 20+ one shouldn't think that way. Not saying that you should be feminine, but I'm saying you should drop the macho mindset.

oh no im not worried about appearing masculine at all, im comfortable with my appearance and if anything would rather look a bit more feminine (longer eyelashes etc.)

yeah it was a safety razor actually, pretty similar to these
It could be more useful for me if you have the exact reference of your razor + the blades brand you have used. Because not all safety razors are good and most of the time if you have still stubble you have used a mild razor with a mild blade, and you need to level-up by a more aggressive razor and a sharper blade.

Alongside a good & slick shaving soap
