As people on this forum probably know looks make a huge difference in life. If you’re attractive, people come to you and it’s easier to avoid these games. But if you’re average or below, you notice how people treat you differently and that opens the door to mind games. When you already feel like you’re behind, you tolerate more just to stay around. That’s exactly what emotional warfare feeds on.

A lot of girls won’t outright say no. Instead, they’ll give just enough attention to keep you interested and then pull back when you get too close. You start thinking that maybe if you try harder or change something about yourself, they’ll finally notice. But most of the time they were never fully invested. You were just an option.

Social media makes it even worse. Likes, comments, story views, little signals like that are all emotional tools. You start overthinking them, wondering if they mean something. People know how to use attention and silence to manipulate feelings. That little bit of validation keeps you hooked, keeps you checking, keeps you hoping.

Blackpill thinking ties in because it’s a harsh truth about the world. Looks and status matter. If you don’t have them, you’re already fighting uphill. And when you’re desperate or insecure, it’s easier for someone to pull your strings. You want it more than they do, so they can control the pace and the rules. That’s why so many guys end up chasing people who don’t care the same way. They don’t see it’s emotional leverage.

The worst part is how it messes with your head. Over time you start doubting yourself. You think you’re the problem. You question your worth. And once that happens, someone can control you without ever saying a word. Emotional warfare doesn’t just waste your time. It rewires how you see yourself.

The only way out is awareness. You have to see when someone is playing with your emotions. Once you notice it, the power they have over you fades. You stop reacting the way they expect. You stop begging for scraps. Sometimes the strongest move is to walk away.

Dating isn’t just about looks or status. It’s about who controls the emotions in the room. Some people play fair, but most don’t. If you’re not aware, you get used without even realizing it. Emotional warfare is control without confrontation. The sooner you see it, the sooner you can stop losing.

@over0 carefully nitpick this post and assign him a one word term in order to undermine his thoughts

unless that was just a one time thing

High IQ, read every word. It's sad that dating has to be some type of cruel and restless game instead of just slowly connecting with one person through conversations and shared time. I got led on by a girl just last year. Once she told she actually had a bf all along, it made me depressed for 2 weeks. 2 months or so ago she said she'll read a review I've made on an album where she explicitly stated that she was very interested and I have yet to see her feedback. Fortunately, I don't see her anymore and I think I moved on, I've learned to not get so emotionally attached so early on and to see the early manipulative tactics and red flags.

Damn it. I feel bad for you brother. I had the exact same situation. I was also talking to a Wasian girl this June and turned out she had a boyfriend and was just playing me. I dont really feel trust in women now. To be honest now I will also start playing the game if you get what I mean.
