I don't think most people will get aroused by seeing random nudity/porn unprepared, it's just not how arousal works really. But I get your point.
I understand why people might like sex enough to hookup. When I was a virgin, I was pretty disgusted by the concept, but after having a relationship I've realized it's probably more complicated. I personally wouldn't ever hookup, and I'm happy with my current arrangement, but I'm just saying I had a more black/white view of sex and sexuality when it was easy to not do something I've never done before. It was easy to be disgusted by people who had a lot of sex when I never had sex to begin with, for example.
It's one of those things where it went from "I can't ever understand why anyone would do something so gross" to "It's not my thing but it's whatever".
Sex is personal, but it's enjoyable. People who have sex with people are still doing an intimate activity, and most people who do hookups feel like they can't experience that intimacy in many other ways, or at all. It's more sad than disgusting than anything else in my opinion.
With that being said, porn I've just never really understood. I obviously understand on a chemical level, but I guess it's like me saying I don't understand gambling. I've gambled, several times, and in many ways, but I never got the "high" or happy chemicals associated with doing that activity, in the same way I never got it with porn. Especially if you're in a relationship, it just feels kind of wrong. But I wouldn't say people who gamble are "disgusting", I would just say they're probably prone to addiction in general.
