Soft spoken people are so unnecessarily annoying, I don’t mean to be mean when I say this but it’s a drag having a conversation in a loud place with a quiet toned person.
And everything is an Ego battle right but either way I feel like Im losing when I’m in that situation
But I don’t want to seem like a prick or a jerk if I tell them to speak up because some people really just don’t realize their own tones and I really don’t care about conversation where I want to really listen
But I’m forced to “listen” so I have to make too much eye contact where it’s almost uncomfortable and since I don’t really know what we are talking about I just do the smile and nod method and then speak words whenever I’m given the social cue
I feel like a robot dealing with soft voices
