Is it just me or does anyone else just get mad their fucking parents? Like my mum and dad expect me to be optimistic and try hard at studying and they hate me. And my dad expects me to be happy but he doesn’t even pay my mum child support and my only device is laggy as fuck and breaking and he just says he got me dlc on a game a few months ago so he can’t upgrade me to a device, and the one im asking for is literally worth 1-2 months of child support he missed (he didn’t pay for 2 years) coz he doesn’t have to pay much more than 100 anyway but he still doesn’t do that and idrc but he can’t think he can enforce rules and expect me to do anything when he doesn’t do much.
This is a bitchy rant yeah and maybe im ungrateful but ive got a outdated iPad for watching movies and social media and a £100 phone just for phone calls and WhatsApp
Hopefully when i next see him he may possibly upgrade, but i love him still anyway it’s js annoying sometimes,
He also points out my insecurities which i hate.
And my mum and dad im js mad at coz they both had anxiety and depression and my dad found out he was autistic after i was born and now I’m just a below average mentalcel. I try and I don’t LDAR but giving up isnt an option really i still have hope i guess

sounds like ur dads in a similar headspace and projecting it onto u, he's pointing out his own insecurities on u to try to mentally distance himself from them
