Rap sucks

Ye ye clearly you don’t know your classics 👀
Checkout The College Dropout and Madvillainy before saying ignorant shit
Dude I don't care about how some degenerate rhymes n****r and slut better then the other

In which part of the song he raps ? I’m confused
“Someday, we gon' set it off
Someday, we gon' get this off
Baby, don't you bet it all on a pack of fentanyl
You might think they wrote you off
They gon' have to rope me off
Someday, the drama'll be gone
And they'll play this song on and on
Sometimes, I take all the shine
Talk like I drank all the wine
Years ahead but way behind
I'm on one, two, three, four, five
No half-truths, just naked minds
Caught between space and time
This not what they had in mind
But maybe someday“ he raps here, similar to his delivery in his other traditional rap stuff

That is NOT rapping, it’s clearly some soul delivery similar to Marvin Gaye’s.

There are few better class indicators than rap music.
A poor person, a stupid person, a born slave, etc can, in the modern age, conceal what caste they were born into. Usually all it takes is money. A stupid n****r, for instance, can get hundreds of thousands of acolytes simply by having money. Flaunt your shekels and the drones will follow.

However, there is one tell that immediately gives away your place in the spiritual / cognitive hierarchy. Rap music.

Rap music was designed from its very inception to be slop. It was never meant to be good music. It was never meant to be good. It was never meant to be music. It was meant to be background noise — a soundtrack for gang shootouts and smoking the leftover hash out of your baby mamas bong.

It was designed to suck every ounce of money from the lowest classes of society.

Every single spare dollar not spent on Jordans, stolen Glocks, or malt liquor, was given to rappers (and their Jewish producers).

All of this to say: it doesnt matter what race, economic class, social class, or geographic area you come from. If you unironically listen to rap, you were born to be a slave. You are cattle.

You may be able to hide it. You may be able to make a good living and dress like a British clay shooter from the 1930s, but i will always know what you are.

If, upon your first hearing of rap music, you werent immediately disgusted: your soul is that of a shit shoveler. You were meant to do the work that even Indian dalit dasyu sudra mleccha untouchables wont do.

Conversely, you may be destitute, downtrodden, and unremarkable in every way. But if you were disgusted and repulsed by rap noise when you first heard it, you are likely destined for far greater things. You are likely descended of nobles and knights.

If your friends listen to rap, distance yourself from them. They will only drag you down.

“Bro. BRO! Did you hear the new Kendrick 21 Ayo Blockdown Lil Nig Tyqueesha James Ferguson Floyd diss album?!?! Its so good bro hes such a lyrical genius man it goes so hard bro! Hey bro lets smoke some weed while eating some McDonalds then hop on Fortnite or CoD bro!”

we can just agree to disagree then, i think it’s rap and it sounds like rap to me. obviously it’s not as simple as just being rap tho

I’m sorry bro I don’t make the rules, there’s little to no rap/hiphop elements on the song itself. I love the song btw it’s one of my fav from Kanye.

It’s just not, there is absolutely no rap/hip-hop elements in this song. Kanye could drop a drone album that yall would call it hip-hop. Even RYM doesn’t tag the song as being hip-hop in primary AND secondary genres

I’m not being pretentious but it’s just not hip-hop, it’s a soul song. If you want to recommend her a song by the same artist that IS hip hop then recommend her All Falls Down, Hurricane or Reborn.

Which rap element ? The psychedelic soul instrumental ? The vocal deliveries of Kanye, Cudi and 070 Shake leaning way more into soul ? I’m really curious

Acting condescending and calling me pretentious without giving furthermore arguments is pretty weak from your part. If I wanted to recommend an emo song from MCR, I wouldn’t recommend them NaNaNa.
bc i already gave u the lyrics that sounded like rap ur arguing w me in circles when i already said we could agree to disagree on it, u are being pretentious

The lyrics doesn’t make the song rap,its all about the vocal delivery. I haven’t shown any sign of disrespect towards you and you’re the first to call me pretentious.

yea and the vocal delivery gen sounds like rap to me, why are we still going

But why do you think it’s rap ? Compare the song to any number of Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder songs and you’ll see there is little to no difference between them in their vocal deliveries. Rap is literally all about the action of rapping, which Ghost Town has none. Just because black people make a track doesn’t mean it’s rap.

i think it’s rap bc the parts where he’s rapping sound like rap to me, like i said before it’s obviously not generic rap music
ur still going w this for no reason, i’ve already said we don’t have to agree on it

Where'd you find this copypasta from?

I’m ngl I feel like I get stupider when I listen to rap. The rare time I listen to it intentionally is if I listen to the first 10 seconds cause the beat sounds nice. The 99.9 percent other times is me coping and tolerating it cause another person around me is blasting it
