tried getting into evangelion, finished the first ep and it just wasnt for me and i prefer mangas i guess

i dont like the 90s looking graphics/animes in general, and i dont like the mecha genre, only exception was code geass and thats because it wasnt that much revolved around the mechas as much as evangelion is
