Some of the stuff I say might not make sense but these are all from my experience and stuff I’ve done which helped and hopefully help you too💕

•Finish what you start.
You get loads of dopamine after completing tasks. Chasing quick hits of dopamine makes your brain think avoidance is safer than completion. Cycle repeats. Every small wins requires your brain.

•Boring breaks.
Dopamine is the chemical that causes motivation. After doing tasks and scrolling, gaming, eating unhealthy food as a break means the task won’t be as exciting instead walk around, stretch, walk, make a cup of tea

•Stop multitasking:
It’s feels productive because your hands are busy but isn’t working cognitively. Attention is split and becomes hard to use brain in depth becomes impossible. No need for you to have a YouTube video playing while eating, scrolling while taking a shit. Don’t merge everything into endless stream of half-focus . Single tasking rebuilds mental pathways that lets you drop into flow state

•2 min rule :
Start something for 2mins once you start the resistance of that task disappears

• cut cheap dopamine: Scrolling,Netflix, vaping ,junk food which means the only way for you to get dopamine is to do difficult tasks
If not you can dopamine load
Morning-Low dopamine tasks
Night-high dopamine rewards

Growth mindset (sounds silly but helps) putting yourself in the mindset of striving to be better releases dopamine when doing difficult stuff.

Do hard stuff: Brain only adapts when challenged. Nervous system learns from exposure not avoidance

I hope this somehow helped!! Stay safe and happy new year 🥳 💕
