As a politics major I can confirm a good 70-80% of these dipshits believe these sides make a different/ believe in the political compass
 
That's why in neither I just vote for the okayish option and pretend not to know what's going on

yeah pretty much, the whole mainstream "left vs. right" thing is just a pantomime at this point, conservatives and neoliberals are basically two sides of the same corporate coin, they argue over culture war nonsense while quietly agreeing on keeping the wealth hoarded, the war machine running, and the working class pacified, unless we're talking about actual socialism, like restructuring power from the ground up, not just rebranding capitalism with rainbow logos
