Should I get stroma laser eye surgery or no

My friend who’s also on here said I shouldn’t bc my eye color is so unique (idk if it actually is) but I feel like blue eyes would look so much better on me. I have t10 eyes I think, and my dream eye color is a17 or a20, is that even possible? From what I know stroma laser surgery is js shooting a laser in your eye to take out the melanin and over a couple weeks the color in your eye lightens, but idk how much it COULD lighten yk? My eyes are als so orange in the sun, thats that one image I added, I don’t have any filter or contacts in that one. The brown eye photo are me, the bottom blue one is me w a blue eyes filter on, and the photos of the blue irises are just photos I found online

I’ve been looking almost everywhere, like from cosplay sites to actual prescription ones, I have glasses but I don’t ever wear them so I’m tryna ask my optometrist to see if I could switch to contacts and get them colored blue bc I heard people have done that before

yeah, mostly glasses stores and all have realistic contacts and they cost around 30 bucks

30 bucks for realistic contacts is actually so insane, the closest one I found so far wasn’t even that realistic and was like over 100 dollars, I’ll keep looking

That’s actually a really good idea, I hadn’t even thought of green. But I feel like blue would have more contrast yk? Pale skin, black hair, blue eyes is more contrasty green eyes

green is much more appealing than blue, especially light green

stroma is too new. i wouldn't touch it. zero long term data, and the people doing it now are basically lab rats, let them be lab rats first, see what their eyes look like in 10 years, then maybe revisit.

contacts exist in the meantime. your eyes are fine as is.

Also, personally not a fan of this stuff. where does it end, new eyes, then what. it's identity jenga chasing other people's approval and there's no winning condition.

there's lower hanging fruit. fix those first, the ROI is gonna be way higher.

I’m not gonna be able to even get it for 3-4 years, so until then I am gonna experiment w different contacts, after that though if there’s any new data then ofc that’ll affect my decision. But yeah I see why you wouldn’t be a fan of this type of thing, I mean it is scary but I feel like my eyes have always been so lame yk? Imo my eyes are just shit brown, they’re not even a pretty black brown. But tysm, I def wasn’t gonna touch it anytime soon until after the 3-4 years, in the meantime hopefully more data gets revealed from it
