Most people are not fucking neurodivergent or to the degree they think they are. You just lack social skills which you haven’t developed either cause of rotting or being outcasted. But it is a learnable thing and you can completely have a normal social circle with effort even if you are ND truly (diagnosed)

Exactly, also to add neurodivergence and good social skills are not mutually exclusive, you can be both. Just because you are ND doesn’t mean you are doomed to be socially awkward for the rest of your life.(unless you have severe autism which 99% of people don’t have)

You need to be an extreme outlier to actually have this. And yeah i agree its not mutually exclusive at all. And i see all these corny kids say “they mask their ND” no bro mostly everyone doesn’t say what they truly think because it can be detrimental to their social image.

yeah this applies to a lot of ND people, not me though, im at the level of autism where i have full legal rights to have a social worker be with me at all times

learning social skills and applying them as an ND is literally just masking JFL

Fr bro I hate when people say they are like nugga your just a high inhib f*g

People jump straight to self diagnosing lmao

ADHD diagnosed, therapist wants me to get checked for social anxiety aswell, i also think i might be bipolar esp since its genetic & multiple ppl in my family have it
I have this same make roughly, but diagnosed with type 2 bipolar disorder + ADHD

Cracking Up Lol GIF

yea though combo take anything for the bipolar or just ride it out?
I personally and would recommend riding it out and managing what triggers depressive episodes

Mood stabilizers like lithium carbonate create a lot of damage in the body, especially to the kidneys. Very dangerous drug for other reasons as well

Lithium Orotate is promising but not prescribed or formally studied other than a preliminary being done at John Hopkins right now

Atypical antipsychotics have mood stabilizing properties and are used for bipolar disorder treatment. Namely Seroquel and Lurasidone. Both cause excessive sedation and can lead to suicidal thoughts in some patients.

Weight loss is brutal on Seroquel, Lurasidone is more mild but the lethargy and increase in appetite may cause you to gain weight anyways indirectly

People with Bipolar disorder are often very sensitive to things that trigger depressive episodes. Drug abuse, junk food, high o6o3 ratio diet, lack fo sleep etc. Controlling these triggers and tracking your progress in curbing these things does wonders for the condition but it also means a lifelong commitment to staying away from such things.

Look into medication if you have a very bad case of it ( think type 1, very bad manic states etc. ). Otherwise it's not worth it and you should focus on eliminating the triggers.

As early as possible, it is a somewhat progressive condition ( gets worse if not managed )

you deserve multiple stars for this great information to have ill keep this in mind if i ever get a formal diagnosis

You obvs shouldn’t self diagnose things like this

It’s possible to have a social circle as someone who’s ND but it’s impossible to be trueltly happy with them and not alienated unless ur masking extremely 24/7
