People's lives are bad because they have very little control over their lives, nobody truly has total control over their lives.
The more control you have, the better your life is.
Money gives you general control over your life, Looks gives you social control over your life. Increasing your Money and Increasing your Looks = Increasing your quality of life.
This is why Looksmaxxing is a thing. The Idea that Looks gives you social control over your life, and increases your life quality.
There are many people here who do not Looksmax for this reason. They Looksmax because they are 'Slaves to the Aesthetic.'
They buy VIP before they invest in basic skincare.
They Looksmax their profiles before they Looksmax themselves.
They are Slaves to the Aesthetic.
An example is clothes like this. This piece of clothing will not improve your life quality, they will make you stand out in a bad way. But this is very attractive to people such as this because they don't care about how Looks interacts with life quality. They only care about The Aesthetic.
I know a couple of people like this in real life. They worship models, they doomscroll on vinted. They have a flashy outfit on. Care more about their instagram followers and their account's Aesthetic than their actual quality of life.
I know I've repeated myself alot in this thread, but my overall conclusion is to recognize these people quickly, and to not take them seriously. Do not fall into the trap of being a Slave to the Aesthetic, or into fashion/looks dysphoria.
Remember you are only here to make yourself Look better for better control of your life socially, for a higher Life Quality.
