So because some of you lads REALLY want to know what jacket the WWD guy is wearing in all the memes, and because I cant reply to any of my Facebook comments atm, I made this handy guide. Short answer for where to get the jacket: You cant. Theres only one in existence and Im wearing it. Its a prototype we're working on. If all goes well, it'll eventually go up for sale on our website. But currently, no ETA. Sorry. Our chest rig design is coming first, so the commando smock is gonna have to wait.
As for the rest of the stuff: well here it is. The tshirt is also not currently for sale, multiple designs are finishes however, we'll release them once our chest rig is out for preorder.
The fur ruff you can find from pretty much any Alaskan furrier, or have one made. Mine was custom made for the WWD smock, and we'll sell them as well, as a separate item for those who want one, due to the high price. Theres just no substitute for wolf/wolverine fur. If youre serious about warmth (kind of a big deal in Hyperborea,) accept no man-made substitutes.
The Lowa boots you can get at your local outdoor shop or online, highly recommend the brand for avid outdoorsmen. Used mine in the mountains of Afghanistan and in Alaskan bogs and boreal forest, definitely my favorites, but shoes are a particular preference. Feel free to DM us on Instagram for recommendations.
The watchcap is one of many, I love wool watch caps, currently Im wearing a UF Pro watch cap in black. Merino wool breathes well, doesnt itch, and keeps your noggin warm in the cold. Fantastic for active use in the cold because it wick sweat from your head allowing for the sweat to freeze on the outside of the hat, thus keeping your head (relatively) dry to avoid chilling and hyping out, as well as keeping your head from overheating. I often run in temps as low as -60F and this hat is my favorite to wear.
The pants are Tehkla pants from a Swedish veteran owned brand called @mergerrasweden . Great guy, great pants. Check them out.
The glasses are Julbo Vermonts. Theyre glacier goggles, not practical outside of mountaineering/arctic environs, designed to protect the eyes from harsh UV light, but restricts peripheral.
