1. Eyebrows
  • Brow Shape: The ideal brow shape for women is generally a soft arch, not too angular or too flat. The arch should peak at the outer third of the brow. Well-groomed brows that complement the eye shape enhance the natural beauty of the eye area.
  • Eyebrow Distance from Eyes: Eyebrows should ideally be mid-low set. This creates a striking and harmonious look. Although A higher brow positioning can make the eyes appear more open and youthful.
  • Thickness: The eyebrow thickness should be 1/3 of the eye width and the hair itself should be thick overall and the colour should be at least 2 shades darker than your hair colour. You can thicken the eyebrow hair via the use of minoxidil or castor oil.
2. Upper eyelid exposure
  • Ideal exposure: The ideal upper eyelid exposure would be minimal, none at all would give you an overly masculine look, where too much would make you look sleepy and shocked.
  • How to improve: You can improve your upper eyelid show by using volufiline on the space between your eyelid and eyebrow as it promotes fat growth in the area minimising the upper eyelid appearance. Or If your eyelashes are long enough you can curl your eyelashes and cover the eyelid with them.
3. Under eyes
  • Ideal under eyes: The ideal under eyes are ones with good support, and brightness.
  • How to improve: You can improve your under eyes via hydration, dark circle treatments (vitamin C and caffeine), peptides (Look for peptides like palmitoyl pentapeptide-4 or matrixyl, which help stimulate collagen and restore skin firmness.) You can also just use cold compresses, or tea bags as the reduce the appearance of swelling and inflammation.
4. Eyelashes
  • Ideal eyelashes:Ideal eyelashes are long (not sure about the exact length), full, curled, and defined, enhancing the eyes' appearance.
  • Natural Lashes: Promote growth with eyelash serums (e.g., Latisse), biotin, and a healthy diet rich in vitamins and omega-3s.
  • Enhancing Makeup: Use lengthening and volumizing mascara, eyelash curlers, and tightlining to define and lift lashes.
  • Semi-Permanent Options: Consider lash extensions, lash lifts, or tinting for longer-lasting effects.
5. Sclera ( The whites of the eye)
  • Ideal Sclera: The ideal sclera is white, with an even tone, minimal redness, and no yellowing.
  • How to improve: Eye Drops: Use lubricating eye drops to prevent dryness and redness. Artificial tears can keep the eyes moist and improve the overall appearance of the sclera.
