One time I was in an expedition to the Arctic. My team and I got trapped in a heavy blizzard and after it was over we found our GPS wasn't working. We'd totally lost our bearings and were stranded for 10 days before help arrived. On the fourth day though a polar bear came at us and one of the guys shot at it with our only rifle and missed every shot. I jumped into action and anded up killing it with a knife and only suffered a few broken ribs.
