This is something that seems to be very prevalent among young conservative middle class men, which I've noticed since coming back to America in 2021. These kind of men like to project this "alpha" facade.
For the past couple weeks I've been working the night shift with a 31 year old white guy that fits this exact description. His attire is a Bass pro fishing hat, flannel shirt, facial hair that's always manicured a little too perfectly, and pristine heavy duty construction boots that have never been used for what they're made for a day in their life. We work at a group home for people who have had traumatic brain injuries. Our duties pretty much consist of cleaning, and waiting around on residents for when they need assistance using the bed urinal during the night.
Anyways, this guy I work with is a real piece of work. Every time I ask him a question he has to stare back at me with hard eye contact for like 3 seconds before giving an answer. If I answer any of his questions, mundane shit about life or whatever, he does the same thing. Just stares at you intently for about three seconds before answering. It's like he's seen too many videos on "holding frame" or whatever and uses it on every other dude that he meets. These guys take this shit out of context and way too seriously. They use it in times that aren't appropriate and fold in times that are. It's all a facade. Betas trying to be alpha because of what's become popular on YouTube for their demographic. These are the same kind of guys that will spend $15,000 on a weekend "alpha male bootcamp" to take ice baths and get filmed crying in a cluster of other half naked dudes who are also crying, lol.
I've met quite a few other middle aged guys just like this over the past three and a half years here in the US. My two older cousins for example. They both married a couple of roasties who were in their early 30's. They like to pull the same type of shit, but when their wives call their names you'll see them drop the whole act and jump up to quickly tend to whatever's wanted of them like a nervous little boy. When they're out and about they're the ones always pushing the strollers, or carrying their kids around in their arms, and not their wives.
Guys like this don't last long around me. They usually end up asking to be placed on another shift, or they go out of their way to avoid me. They're cooky cutters that can't abide someone who's not like them and their ilk, whom they can't dominate with their false alpha male retardation. It makes them very uncomfortable. To them, a man who's not subjective to the approval of their wives or girlfriends is just a "mad dog" that should be put down.
