A guess is a probabilistic conscious decision based on experience
Intuition is an unconscious decision

Intuition does’t need external matches to be intuition, but requires at least superficial awareness of one's internal inclinations to be utilised

most people tend to confuse intuition with sensation, but sensation can’t lead to useful decision making unless supported by something else, it’s simply a directly internal reaction to external stimuli

true, also intuition is a bit abstract compared to sensation

Can we say neural networks are taking a calculated guess ?

152 layers or something

You can tell what's going on in the neurons or layers but you can't know how parameters interact with each other

I tried to be as simple as possible
My point was that neural networks can’t have intuition (in your understanding of what it is)

Intuition = connecting the dots
Guessing = making shit up
Similar to what I said before to him
It’s more complex

Neural networks have hidden layers (artificial intuition, sort of), and the result is not simply a calculated guess as they have predictive ability

“Connecting the dots” can’t be predictive, intuition can be predictive
