It depends; there is a sort of reciprocity between grammar and strictly logical meaning. Abbreviations, for example, are aberrant even if superficially useful from a social point of view.

When the grammatical error is minor, i.e. (that means) when the word is easily understandable, it is acceptable (if rare), otherwise it’s not and discredits much of what you write.


Abbreviations, on the other hand, “htn” being a prime example, are terrible.

Not only because “htn” is interpreted as a whole word, when in fact it is part of the macro-category of “normies”, but also because it is difficult to interpret due to its vague definition
