Hey, I can read Russian but not speak it fluently. Can you please tell me what "Medleno" means? I forgot.

Oh yeah, that's right. Thanks. And bistro means fast.
The word "bistro" comes from the Russian word bystro, which means "quickly". The term originated during the Napoleonic Wars when Russian soldiers would shout "bystro" to French cafe and restaurant owners to speed up service. The owners eventually began using the word "bistro" to describe their restaurants, which served simple, home-cooked food quickly and at an affordable price.

Bistros became popular across Europe as an alternative to fine dining, offering hearty, rustic dishes and affordable wine or beer. They continue to thrive today, though they have evolved to incorporate modern culinary techniques.

Interesting, right? So cool how different languages can overlap and change others
