Your best years to explore romantically and enjoy the pleasures of experiencing "young love" for the first time with a girl you like are over.

You can't really offer a girl anything new or genuinely impress her because chances are what you say, what you do, the places you take her, etc she's probably already experienced numerous times with romantic interests in her life in the past.


So if your youth is over and you've had no experience thus far you might as well call it quits.
