Trust me, being a NEET is only good if you're doing it temporarily. The first few weeks are fun, but then all the fun gets sucked out. You realize you're left behind, your peers are progressing in every way; in their studies, in their careers, in their lovelives. And then there's you, stuck in the same vicious cycle, unable to get out. You have all the time in the world, but everyone around you is busy. Your social skills get tanked, too. The things you liked to do suddenly become unappealing. Get used to being extremely bored. People got a taste of my life when COVID-19 hit, and they were forced to stay at home. People couldn't take it and killed themselves. And here I am, doing it for almost ten years now.
