Depends really. As a Christian albeit somber it’s a time of celebration if you have finished your race with God well, or very much a tragedy in the case of the opposite.

Either that or just a null black void with nothingness, kinda peaceful if you think of it like that.

i personally think death shouldn't be scary for people, yet many people fear death a lot and im yet to see a good reason for death to be feared tbh

I fear it. If being crushed by my conscience in the past was anything to go by I couldn’t imagine what hell would be like for me.

i suppose for a religious person fear of death would make some sense, personally i do not believe in any abrahamic religions so my perspective is gonna be different to someone religious ofc

so in exodus 20:4-5 it mentions to not have idols, god also mentions that he himself is jealous and he doesnt want you giving your affection to other gods, my question is, if hes the only god (since all abrahamic religions are monotheistic) who would he be jealous of?

also in 1 Samuel 15:3 it says “Now go and completely destroy the entire Amalekite nation—men, women, children, babies, cattle, sheep, goats, camels, and donkeys.” which god commanded, now in the 10 commandments it says “thou shall not kill” so what would actually happen to them if they were to kill since god commanded it, would they go to heaven or hell?

Evolution selects for those who value survival and reproduction. It isn't a logical conclusion, it's hardwired. Of course, you can technically overcome it, but it takes effort.
