I think it just comes down to how strict your conscience is. Some people fell bad after shoplifting and it will genuinely ruin their day. For me doing small kind things will make me feel better even if it doesn’t amount to much

I find no luck in doing small things.
When you really look at what you are doing for others it doesn't matter, because there will always be a mental block if you did shit in the past.

All i ever lived was people looking down on my bad behavior and never forgiving. Small things add up maybe.
