I would have elaborated, just saying no is quite rude. In college, last year, one female teacher in her 30s was personally shaking every person’s hands, and when she got to the revert, he said “My religion doesn’t allow me to shake your hands,” meanwhile every other muzzie including myself gave a handshake anyway.
