For reference Im 16 years old about to turn 17 making it about 5 years since i’ve exposed myself to porn. I’ve been addicted to porn a very long time and kinda developed a method for quitting (not cold turkey).

What the nofap dudes on reddit fail to understand is that urges aren’t bad they are normal as you are a man. Most of these individuals have a unhealthy obsession with their streaks and still haven’t fixed their mindset and their relationship with it.
YBOP defines porn as artificial sexual stimuli this can be smut,visual, auditory, soft core, hardcore,etc. I haven’t watched traditional porn in a very long time but used Janitor ai because i thought it was different(deep down i knew it was but I didn’t acknowledge it) YBOP also states that MASTURBATION IS NORMAL and is only not normal when you think of porn fantasy. Keep this in mind.
The method: stage one:
most of you recognize PMO as one addiction but we’re going to attack it like two. one addiction significantly less potent than the other. So you are going to cut out porn completely but keep masturbation. Trying to tackle two addiction s at once is a reciepe for disaster as most of us are hormonal teenagers conditioned to pmo. When you get withdrawals simply fap without porn Do not think about past porn fantasize about real women in your life.ABSOLUTELY NO PORN FANTASY as this is also artificial stimuli.
Stage two: start lowering your fap frequency this will be easier than stage one as your withdrawals should be mostly gone. If you feel like you’re up for it continue onto nofap but i honestly feel you should build yourself up first before doing a reboot challenge like 30-90 days. I guarantee most of you don’t really have a masturbation addiction it’s just you have been conditioned by society to fap to porn which enables you guys.
Important things to remember: Do not track days take pmo out of your identity and just forget about it obsessing over it will make you want to relaspe more. Also understand that porn in any quantity or form or intensity is bad. Unlike quancho(inspiration for this post and another user) i don’t believe masturbation is bad in moderation but in excess frequency i believe is bad. Approach this method how you see fit.
