ok in antiquity and middle ages wars were great because you could realize your warrior spirit there but shit, in modernity when guns were invented or even drones it became some retarded event where you cannot realize your warrior spirit and die when you don't even see your enemy.

The main issue I think is incredibly smart people make very powerful things and hand it out to the masses

And in a way that helps with technology basically all of the biggest technological advancements in our lives came from ww1 and 2

But the human being is still very much the same as they were 2000+ years ago, we don’t have a difference in brain power or anything so ppl remain territorial and group driven stranger danger

And this is not to say they are wrong since the moment they stop being like that it’s not like others will stop so it’ll always result in conflict in the end

Unlikely that’s why we also make laws of war but in case of war most laws are always broken

It’s not like u can have a very powerful thing in ur room and just not use it especially when u know ur neighbour also has it

once it’s discovered and they know how to make it it’ll never be forgotten so now we are at a point where many countries have enough power to destroy the whole world in the press of a button

But I mean just imagine u and 3 other neighbours had a beef and all 3 of you had guns

You guys agree to fight it out with fists but you all know the other has a gun

Who’s gonna be the r****d to leave the gun at home atp they are all bringing it in cause they all think the other might

And every country knows this especially if u are weaker than ur neighbour u will be more likely to use ur gun anyway

That’s fairytale unfortunately There’s always gonna be someone who doesn’t follow the rules

Sometimes just the thought that someone might not follow the rules might make others also not it’s a locked process in this case

That’s why nowadays countries try their hardest to avoid wars but when they want resources they want it either way they can’t risk economic drop atp since that would bring less money to fund military and another country might take advantage

So it’s all a loop 😭
