It is true that at times we are pulled down into a grey fuzzy void we are unfamiliar with. 
Many in these spaces find themselves in between grandeur and inferiority, as well as comparing themselves to others. I've found it true that our neurotypical peers have the correct reasoning and logic about these sorts of things, and is why they don't engage in any of it! Maybe you have been told before that you are "ugly" and that has deeply rooted your obsession with looks and the shithole around it. Yet it is a miracle we are even here, and there is beauty not only in that statement, but in all of us too. We should be spreading kindness and love to one another.
