I’d preface this by saying I’m a very loyal person and I don’t play about commitment, but I’m also very cautious.
We went bowling, and it was pretty fun to say the least… but when we got to the restaurant, the word “commitment” was brought up atleast 20 times within 10 minutes, and a sudden wave of anxiety struck me hard as fuck. So when I felt myself getting comfortable, I got up and left to the bathroom and swerved to the exit.Should probably feel bad, but I feel like I dodged a bullet.

I don’t feel bad whatsoever, but a part of me feels like I made a big mistake as well.

We didn’t order anything, if that’s what you’re thinking… I’m not that bad
well, i'm wary of people who are very intense on first dates too. and i'm also avoidant as hell so if i could i would've ran away too i support u

jfl order phenibut and baclofen to nuke anxiety

i am also a very loyal person but she shouldnt have brought all of that up during the date. i would probably feel the same as you did.

however, i dont see the harm in realizing youre not interested in taking things further, ending the date fairly, and never speaking again. i do think you were in the wrong, yes, despite if you "dodged a bullet" or not.

Communication is not my forte, and having a conversation like that with someone I just met is even harder.

i understand. all you had to try to do was steer the conversation away from commitment, end the date on a good note, and just tell her you dont want to see her again. it should be even easier since you dont know each other and will never speak again. what is the harm in that? seems more stressful to make a sneak escape, have to worry about the consequences later, while giving her a negative experience she'll never forget
