Went to the gym today

Working out is stressful for the body, and causes damage. Therefore I want to limit how much I do.
hmmm.. this stress and damage promotes muscle gain and paired with a good diet, it will promote fat loss as well. i’d say that the trade off is worth it, what will the stress and damage lead to that you’re so afraid of? as long as you don’t go overly heavy and ego lift or have bad form, it won’t cause any problems. do you feel the same way about cardio since that also causes stress on the body?

The stress and damage leads to the early deterioration of my body, which I do not want. Of course when I do lift it is always with proper form, and I don't ego lift to mitigate the chances of any injury, but it is still unnatural and harmful. I feel the same way with cardio. Naturally, we wouldn't run unless we had to, the only good cardio is walking.
