Religion itself is good imo. It keeps people humble, disciplined, morals in place. The people are the issue. How they interpret things e.g quran.

Religion saved me from ending it, so I think it’s pretty good in my case.I just don’t like people in the community having a cross in their bio while cyberbullying or some shit like that

Religion definitely teaches you good habits and morals but why confuses me is how every religion has conflicting ideas of what happens after death, if there is a hell or purgatory, etc.

Because nobody really knows and everyone is trying to fill in the gaps, with what resonates to them. It was used as a way to control society. We shouldn't get religion and god confused.
