I lost a molar at 18, got a bone graft to maintain the space, and wasn't able to get an implant until recently. Anyway, I was looking at my x-ray in the dentist's office and saw the bone is a bit shorter on that side(in terms of height). I have a really wide jaw in general, probably too wide for a female. It's visibly asymmetrical, though I think worsened by all the time I spent with a missing molar. Would it be a safe bet to just get the other side of my jaw shaved down, or should I try bonesmashing after the implant site heals?
