What switch games should I get??

Pulled the trigger on a switch last night. I got the oled one from target that comes with Mario cart 8 and a yr of online

What games should I get? I haven’t played any video games since high school I like fantasy/sci fi stuff give me recs pls

I was thinking about getting breath of the wild but it isn’t on sale. Should I get Tears of the kingdom or would I be missing out on the storyline since it’s a sequel

Yeah makes sense, I just wanted the switch cause I’m not in a position to use my ps4 cause I’m always traveling back and forth between uni and home. Being able to use it as a handheld and occasionally with the tv whenever I’m home makes it more practical
