When I'm around people I'm very funny and sociable, I don't have any problem talking with people or having friends and I admit it's fun in the moment, but I almost never want to talk to anyone and I hate hanging out, I only ever want to be alone (most of the time.) Why do I feel like this

idk its so weird, when I'm actually hanging out or at school I'm super outgoing and likable. When I come back home I enjoy being alone so much more and you would have to drag me out of my house to hangout with someone. Honestly just max out confidence and fake it till u make it

embarrassment and insecurity

Btw ive read what you said on other threads, the fact that youre good looking and youre self aware of that just makes you more prone to be out going bc you feel more confident, but once youre on your house and alone you cant fool yourself or your neuronal connections, at the end of the day its all about that, telling you this with total security bc i feel the same, im good looking and i can be likable around ppl i know but once i get home i cant deceive myself no more

Well flip. It is what it is. I do think being like this has upsides aswell tho. You become more emotionally intelligent and independent

I’ve been dealing with this for so long. It just doesn’t get better for me it could be neurodivergence or insecurity , social anxiety

People are always nice to me. It’s just that when I first meet someone I struggle with making eye contact I also just rather be by myself tbh
