Why are my hobbies so expensive

Pokemon and photography/videography. Specifically camera lenses, I get why they are expensive but I wish I had other hobbies that aren’t as expensive. I do have other hobbies but those just seem the most interesting to me. I hope I can get sponsored through my social media but I have to figure out my niche and capitalize on my reel that was a one hit wonder
