You can’t be an atheist and still worship a celebrity like they’re a god. It’s the same thing but worse since you’re elevating a human, not a concept figure. That’s why I never had anyone I could say confidently “I look up to them”, not even my own parents.

Most celebrities are super boring and uninteresting , I would rather be freinds with a group of incels than be freinds with a group of celebrities

I agree but I think ppl do this because they like authority figures even if they don’t like to admit it and I think many ppl aswell actually enjoy being in an agentic state bcs they can detach themselves from responsibility and lwk switch off their brain
