Just in general. I wonder how many Rajput claims are even genuine in South Asia these days. Too many LARPers whether Islamic or not. We have these groups called Qureshis, Syeds, etc. They basically claim to be Arabic originally. The only South Asians with Arabic ancestry are actually some North Indians.

That’s the point. They’re just LARPing. Most so-called Mughals are just regular Punjabis or Tarkhans to be specific. The only ones with roots to them or Central Asia are the ones who look Turkic. They exist for sure but they call themselves Pakistani and don’t claim to be foreign.
