Why does no one talk about Singapore being the absolute greatest economic comeback of any country? Actually just a beast of a nation in GENERAL

Let's say we compare it to Australia because people often use that country as an example of a successful natio starting from the ground up in modern times.

Population :

Singapore has 1/4th of Australia's population

Land mass and natural resources :

Singapore is fucking tiny, only 750 km^2 whilst Australia has 7 million km^2 estimate

Starting point :

Singapore was kicked out of the Malaysian federation against its will, started off as a literal slum

Today :

I didn't even mention how Australia was rather homogenous whilst Singapore had to struggle with trying to get Hindus, Buddhists, Fundamental Islamists and Agnostics/Atheists to live together.

Fast forward nearly 7 decades later and Malaysia still doesn't want to change the official language of the country to English.
