Why is racism so normalized

Because for some it’s been suppressed for so long, it’s starting to seep out. Many are not truly racist though, everyone has stereotypes and prejudices, for some others when those feelings go unchecked, they can boil over into something worse.

Also turbulent times make it easy for demagogues to shift blame onto others, pointing at a “bad guy” while the elites play people against each other so no one points their finger at them.

I would never judge someone for the color of their skin, but for the contents of their heart
It’s because of stereotypes and prejudices. One strong point, is if you look at the statistics about murders, aggravated assault, and any physical violence, the African American people usually have the worst ratios. I just want to end this letting you know one of my closest friends is black and I would never wish someone to judge him differently simply because the pigment in his skin is different.

I can’t be racist
