Why is this forum not as popular as other LM forums?

I also really appreciate that because when you have people supporting you, you kind of forget the original pain that brought you to improve. I just wish people actually did try to looksmax ….

Me too actually. He's been doing it solely for the love of the game, to be honest. Only a few days ago did he actually put up ads on the site, so he's been running the site at a 100% loss every month since 2019. Brutal.

I admire both owners for different reasons. I like Dean's broad approach to looksmaxxing, his desire to host it at a loss for years is also admirable, and his desire to ask users before implementing something because he cares about the community and how they feel about stuff being done to the site. I like Master's strong stance to protect and defend freedom of speech (probably has to go through a lot of lengths to keep the site up and running), create a space for men who have felt alone for a long time to find community, and to create a space where people can talk about subjects that's forbidden from the rest of the internet.

People want me to try picking one over the other, but I like them both for different reasons. I think both owners believe strongly in what they're doing.

Great observations. I kind of feel bad for Master getting his face posted daily, and having people call him ugly and all sorts of names. What dean is doing though Is really admirable, I can’t imagine myself doing an act as charitable as he’s doing

They both seem to be good sports about the cards they've been dealt with, so that's nice at least. A lot of sites I've moderated for, the owners have been fucking weak. Gives in overly every mild inconvenience. Can't say that about either Master or Dean though.

Yeah they have actual god tier will. Imagine keeping this forum alive for 7/6 years just for people to bully you. I think Master said the reason for that is ,,because people have fun” which made me feel bad for him tbh
