I thought the same before. I was a very devout christian for 3-4 years.
I got much experience with "God" and i can truthfully say that he doesnt exist, I learned from my experiences

With me it was the opposite, I was away from God for 3 years(I was an atheist and thought it was impossible for him to exist.) and he used all the darkness and evil to convert me again.

My mother has this thing about praying to Jehovah but she also uses archetypes and symbols related to her interests.
