I know that looksmaxxing in general is taking care of yourself, being happy, improving your looks but it actually makes you realise it’s a journey to be kind to yourself, not push extreme viewpoints. It’s about loving you and that no matter how hard you try, you can’t change yourself to fit in. I first started to spend a lot of money on things for one event. I went to a wedding a few months back and while I socialised with friends, it still didn’t do much. Then I realised no matter how much I spent on my appearance, the only thing that mattered for me was to see self worth in my reflection.

just delude yourself theory. you talk down to us as if you know what you're missing yet by your own admission, have never actually experienced. you think because you put lipstick on a pig it should be treated any differently than a piece of bacon but you haven't even scratched the surface of what looksmaxxing is. it's such a false equivalency to compare actually effective solutions talked about at length on here with makeup and a pretty dress.

I’m not really talking down to any guy nor am I invalidating their experience, what I’m trying to say is that both of us have the same feelings but yes I do acknowledge guys are struggling probably more than someone like me

FYI you don’t have to listen to anything I say on here. But looksmaxxing is different for everyone

Of course I will never understand what it’s like to be a man in society who is rejected constantly. But then I’d also argue that women also feel anger towards some of this stuff too. It’s not just a one way street at all, and I think the solution like I said would be for both to be more understanding of different issues
