Lost its meaning just like the shiny username did as soon as @Starlet got it
Lost it's meaning when n*****s like RRM got it icl

Everyone will eventually get their shiny username.

And then the cool people will switch to grey usernames
No cool n***a switch it to white, only cool ones who does that is when they get banned.

I got mine from making the opsec guide and actually having a change on the forums opsec by dean himself for safety of others.

boi it has meaning there’s a cute little warning button next to your name
Bruh there's an explosion of shiny usernames both on .com and .org, back then it used to mean something.

Mirin ngl, more respectable than posting 1-2 water guide and then getting it handed to you.

Like seriously I thought this shit would be a grind to get by posting guides or helping users in LM questions but now like 50% of the forum got it.
Well because people are getting it for posting like one guide 🤔 I feel like there should be like multiple levels of contributor like stars, to separate the multi guide top dogs from the one guide written in 20 minutes peasants

(This idea should give me contributor @Dean ) (I'll do anything but write a guide I swear 😭)

Isn’t it paid for on org though? so it’s automatically less meaningful/cool
It is, but like 1/10 of the greycels have it

I don’t get it, are you saying this as a good or a bad thing/ratio?
That's bad because then VIP doesn't feel VIP anymore ya know ? But it's whatever it's just pixels at the end of the day

Something funny I noticed was that even though I got access to new styling, I still don’t have the username color you do rn for posts. So if it makes you feel better that is pretty exclusive, although I might be able to ask for it if I wanted

No honor in having 15k posts

Also ask Dean boy for colors for 20k, 25k and 30k like on .org.

Shush and chatgpt up a quick 2 paragraph guide and request contributor
my views haven’t changed I’m still against AI jfl. I’d probably never make a guide for a number of reasons, so I don’t think I’ll get it but I’m fine with that

Why wouldn't you make a guide or an informational thread ? There's plenty of things that are overlooked in the community, especially in this forum.

It’s a participation trophy
Really is tho, like gg you made one guide about something that has been said multiple times but better here's the green badge.

.org makes the contributor badge ten times more valuable.

I don’t see myself ever doing it because while there are some things I know a good bit about; majority of things have already been said and I wouldn’t want to post something water or that’s just a repeat. Plus I’d feel a lot of pressure to be completely accurate and informative which I feel I’m not necessarily qualified for so it’d be a lot of work
