Tbh I feel like girls in the 2000s were just naturally hotter. Slim bodies, no weird BBL shapes, faces without all the filler stuff. The style was simple, low-rise jeans, crop tops, and they had that natural vibe. Celebs like Britney or Megan Fox back then looked insane compared to the overdone Instagram look today. Back then it felt like more natural beauty and girl-next-door charm. Maybe it’s nostalgia, but I swear they were peak. What do you guys think, am I coping or do you see it the same way? No offense to anyone, I don’t mean to insult modern girls, it’s just my opinion.

Idk I don’t go outside

i agree actually, both genders were more “attractive” in the 2000s. i feel like the answer is obvious, different beauty standards for different times so people follow them as they change. for females back in that era, they wanted a much more feminine, natural, unique beauty. like look at britney, her face isnt very high on the psl scale, she doesnt have the instagram face, she has unique features, but she was still hot. standards for the ideal body and clothing style were also very dif, imo more attractive than the current trends tdy

we also have to consider that beauty standards have changed. some people would call the 2000s celebrities of that time "mid" in 2025.

definitely, ive seen plenty of ppl call britney unattractive online. thats why i put attractive in quotes, its more of my subjective opinion. i think a lot of the ideal bodies from back then would be called mid or unattractive tdy. like marissa coopers from The OC. not very curvy, tall, slim, kind of rectangle. i personally find it hot
