Get along with your coworkers and be as collected as possible, mitigate small talk or at least mitigate things that may put yourself into a bad light around your peers I.E. mentioning past arguments, death, abuse, etc.

Obvi nobody wants to be around a "negative nancy" and besides, Nobody at your place of work gives a fuck to be frank, this doesn't mean to go around and spreading your business like it doesn't mean anything. Because everything in life can and will be used against you.

Looking "busy"
if you see people doing things at their stations and you don't really have much to do, just do something.
even if it's something so miniscule like wiping something clean or pulling something else out for another coworker for their next step for whatever it is their doing.

This simple trick can literally save yourself from having to do even more bull, build repute amongst your people even though you are doing quite literally basically nothing. It will make you seem as if your a "hard worker" to your supervisors, which is good as it means you are less likely to be fired.

If someone ask to do a task switch on the ground floor or ask anything like "can you do this for me whilst I do this other thing which actually could be held off for later" just simply say I can't and that you are busy then pretend to be "busy" as I mentioned before.

Hold a lighthearted and playful demeanor as this will make time go faster for everyone, I work with an older Korean war vet and he's always cracking jokes, really funny guy. everyone likes him even though he does the bare minimum.

Abusing the bathroom and smoke breaks during slow times.

This is easy

just take 10-15 minutes to yourself like two times a shift and nobody will question anything, this is OP for someone with chronic back pain such as myself bros, besides I have to walk an hour to and from so I get that as a "halo" as I can just guilt trip if it ever occurs to that.

You guys be good people.

this is really nice! I like to pretend I’m playing a papas freezeria game, and I like to have a little persona everyday to make it more fun

Faking a British accent for a day and then acting really dramatic another day switches it up. Can’t have my coworkers knowing what to expect
