Went on a date with someone below me in looks and achievements today. What it got me is that he invited me for dinner in a restaurant he chose and made me pay, even though he knew I assumed he would (invited me, I let him choose). No way he actually likes me or views me as a prize in any type of way. Please keep in mind that he could’ve done a free activity for the first date if he didn’t want to spend money. He didn’t have to set me up. It’s not even about the money I spent, but about the fact that he didn’t value me enough not to waste his opportunity by setting me up and embarrassing me...
