In my perspective, being rude to somebody is never worth it. What goes around comes around (eventually). Nobody who ever tried to make me feel small possessed a heart or life that I’ve admired.

Life is one big echo chamber. What you send out comes back, what you sow you reap. What you see in others exists in you.

Be kind and it will come back to you in beautiful ways.

I mean just look at these two:

He is an incredibly charismatic person, and they get along well because of a mutual respect and an abundance of emotional intelligence.

TLDR:
Looks are fleeting, and can be changed, but personality is much more difficult to implement.

This is true, but I also believe that some of the kindest people have chosen to be that way due to their own life circumstances. People who have experienced negativity firsthand know better than to continue that loop, as you really won’t gain anything but slowly becoming evil themselves. The minority aspect is true though it’s easier to frown than to smile at someone.

to clarify before my essay - i agree. if you act miserable, you attract miserable people and are worse off. most of the time.

i never once viewed a billionaire as somebody who hadn’t done awful things at the expense of others and had a terrible life due to it. because they obviously have everything a human could want, even outside of wealth. you could say abusive and terrible things and totally get away with it or benefit from it if you have something that other people want. randos on forums being disrespectful comes off as pathetic because they make it obvious they are envious or are actively seeking something. if you have the thing people are envious of and offer them a chance, they will let you rip their entire lives away for the possibility. you can only gain from taking advantage of it. wealth aside, this is a similar mentality in ed spaces. people who would do anything to hit a certain weight goal even at the expense of their own health or lives. etc but when you get that desperate, the shady alley doctor offering you ‘weight loss’ pills for 5$ suddenly becomes an actual consideration
