You won’t ascend, but I hope you will improve
You should abandon the idea of ascension: it weighs you down and if you fail you will fall much deeper
The problem I have with the word “ascension” is that it excludes failure, or at least, ascension implies in a sense a long-term non-reversible success, i.e. what would commonly be called “cope”
